Your numbers
At 20% you pay $6.00 per order in commission. A phone order taken by ROAL costs $0.90. Phone orders do not cover delivery drivers, so keep that cost in mind if you deliver yourself.
How the math works
Monthly app sales = orders per month × average order value.
Commission per month = monthly app sales × commission %. Per year = monthly × 12.
Same orders by phone with ROAL = orders per month × $0.90.
Difference = commission per month − phone cost per month.
This leaves out delivery drivers, card fees and packaging, which you would weigh on your own.

How much do delivery apps charge restaurants?
Commissions are commonly about 15–30% of each order, depending on the plan and whether the app handles delivery. Your monthly statement shows your real rate.
Does this include every fee?
No. It uses one commission rate. Add card processing, marketing or promotion fees to the rate if you want a fuller picture.
Should I stop using delivery apps?
Not necessarily. Many owners keep the apps for new customers and ask regulars to call the restaurant directly. Even moving some repeat orders to the phone can add up.
What does a phone order cost with ROAL?
$0.90 per completed order. There is no monthly fee, setup fee or per-minute fee. If you deliver yourself, driver costs are separate.
