First-party ordering

What is First-party ordering?

First-party ordering is when customers order directly from the restaurant, not through a marketplace app.

First-party ordering means the restaurant owns the call, the menu, and the customer relationship. The order comes directly to your phone line, not through a third-party marketplace.

A simple example is a caller dialing the restaurant number to order a large pepperoni pizza, a salad, and two sodas. The restaurant takes the order, sets the ready time, and sends the ticket to the kitchen. The customer pays at pickup or by whatever method the restaurant already uses.

Why it matters for phone orders: first-party ordering helps keep the call in your control. You choose the menu, the greeting, and the process. It can also help reduce dependence on outside platforms. If you want to see how ROAL fits, read How it works.
